How fit do you need to be to walk with us? A reasonable indication would be an ability to walk the "Goat track" on Castle Hill with ease and feel you could happily turn around and do it again. An average bushwalk could equate to traversing Castle Hill three (3) times before lunch, add a backpack with food, water and essentials, some hand over hand scrambling and boulder hopping on unformed tracks or no track at all for added interest.
You need to be aerobically fit as well as have good balance to walk over uneven terrain and "rock- hop". You will also need to have good endurance to walk some of the longer walks.
