Welcome to the Townsville Bushwalking Club website. The Club organises bushwalks every two weeks except for the hottest part of the year. Many of the walks are within an hours drive of Townsville. One-day walks are held on Sundays and there are some weekend walks throughout the year.
The Club pre-walk meetings are held at the Blessed Mary Mackillop Parish meeting room (building behind the Church), 43 Ross River Road Mundingburra at 6pm Meeting Dates. New members are most welcome at meetings where a committee member will be available to provide information about the Club and answer any queries.

We do not grade our walks but a description of the walk is provided at the pre walk meeting. The minimal level of fitness required is to be able to walk up "The Goat Track" at Castle Hill with ease.
